Welcome!

Software developer · mom of 4 · lifelong learner

My name is Tiffany Voorhees. I am attending Brigham Young University - Idaho to get my Bachelor's of Applied Sciences in Software Development. I am a mother to 4 boys who keep me busy, but my passion is coding. Here I have links to projects that I've created in school classes, as well as personal projects that I have created over the years for family and friends.

Some of my favorite projects

Tiffany Voorhees - OHS

My family has orered Optimal Health Systems for years. We usually do a group order, but it became hard to keep track of who owed who, as well as who ordered what. This was designed to help us keep track of just that.

Tiffany Voorhees - Budget Planner

In the beginning of my career, I thought I would want to do accounting. Well, taking business classes changed my mind on that thought, but I sure do love to budget. This is my current project for managing personal finances.

Budget Backend for CSE 341 Class

This was my final individual project for my class. Backend project using Google OAuth. A simple transaction program using csv as data. Data stored on MongoDB. Built using Node.js and Express.

Animation Learning Activity for WDD 330

An activity using only CSS to animate a div element.

Lorcana Cards

The final project of WDD 330 included finding a 3rd party API and calling 2 API calls. I chose to use Lorcana API. Want to keep track of all your Lorcana collection, or see what cards they have. Come explore Lorcana!

Handcrafted Haven

The final project of WDD 430 Full Stack Development. This was a team project with credit given to Alvaro Godoy, Heather Gibb and Derek Christensen. The application focuses on fostering a sense of community, supporting local artisans, and promoting sustainable consumption.

Game Library

The final project of CSE 325 .NET Software Development. This was a team project with credit given to Heather Gibb and Derek Christensen. Game Library is project that will allow users to record game play sessions and add/manage game catalog and players.
